Job Overview:
We’re looking for a creative, versatile, and energetic marketer to lead SundaySky’s content marketing and communications strategies. From blogs and bylines to webinars and (of course!) videos, this person will oversee the development of high-quality assets that fuel demand generation, build brand awareness, and cement SundaySky’s position as a thought leader in the exciting enterprise video software space.
This role reports to the VP, Marketing.
Responsibilities
· Lead content strategy: Develop a cross-channel content strategy aligned with SundaySky’s value story and business objectives, targeting key buyer personas and verticals.
· Campaign collaboration: Partner closely with the Demand Generation lead to activate content initiatives in support of campaign priorities, channels, and growth targets.
· Multi-format content creation: Develop compelling content across a variety of formats – (videos, research reports, eBooks, blogs, interactive web experiences, etc.), ensuring assets are effectively repurposed to maximize reach and engagement.
· Webinar strategy: Spearhead a new webinar program to drive lead generation, share ideas, and promote customer stories.
· SEO & organic growth: Collaborate with the Website lead to deliver content that grows organic visitors via the blog and the latest SEO best practices.
· PR and influencer relations: Manage media outreach activities to amplify SundaySky’s brand presence in the market.
· Organic social media: Oversee the company’s social media presence to engage audiences via stand-out content on LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.
· Scale content production: Utilize AI tools, freelance writers, subject matter experts, and the company’s internal creative design studio to increase content quality and output.
· Performance optimization: Analyze and report on content performance metrics to continuously improve effectiveness and engagement.
· Market intelligence: Gain a deep understanding of the enterprise video platform market and collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales and other functions to identify new content requirements and market trends.
· Brand stewardship: Help own our corporate story and ensure brand consistency of messaging and visual style across all content and communications platforms.
Requirements
· 8+ years of experience in content marketing, corporate communications, or related roles for B2B SaaS companies
· Skilled writer and editor with an eye for detail (this is a must)
. A natural storyteller with a passion for video content and visual storytelling (it’s what we do!)
· Highly creative thinker and proactive worker who is always looking for new ideas
. Strong understanding of modern content marketing tactics and trends
· Effective communicator who is driven to “cut through the noise” with thoughtful, memorable, and differentiated messaging
· Motivated by a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment (this is B2B marketing, after all)
· Previous experience marketing to financial services, healthcare, or insurance is a plus
· A collaborative team player with a positive, solutions-first attitude
