Behind The Personalized Videos: International Women’s Day

For our next installment of the Behind The Personalized Videos series, we’re celebrating some of the women behind the personalized videos for International Women’s Day!

We are proud to have great, strong, leading women across our organization in multiple roles. With women filling almost 45% of all our roles, we have a goal to have half of our leading roles filled by women, as well. At over double the industry average for percentage of employees who are women, it’s quite obvious that they are a vital part of the SundaySky team. They invent, develop, and lead the SundaySky product amongst a myriad of other roles. Without them, SundaySky’s achievements in personalized video technology would be impossible, so without further adieu let’s take the next few moments to celebrate some of these individuals for International Woman’s Day 2019

Shiran Manor | TIER-4 TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Can you describe your role at SundaySky?

I am a Senior technical support engineer, responsible for support of the personalized video product. My day to day involves troubleshooting and solving complex product issues in a timely and high quality manner. I work closely with SundaySky Customers, Success Managers, and the Delivery and R&D teams. In addition, I develop automatic tools to increase the Support team’s efficiency, performance and knowledge.

What do you like the most about working at SundaySky?

I love our product and I really believe in it. In addition to that, the office atmosphere is great.

What are you currently listening to or reading?

Lana Del Ray.

Who or what inspires you the most?

People who contribute to any professional meeting they attend, no matter what the topic is.

Tali Petrover | R&D TEAM LEADER

Can you describe your role at SundaySky?

R&D Team Leader, which is pretty self-explanatory if you know what R&D in tech is.

What do you like the most about working at SundaySky?

I love the people, the atmosphere and the daily challenges we face. I like how everyone’s voice can be heard and that new ideas and initiatives are always welcome!

What is one unusual fact about yourself that people may not know?

I have played (semi-)professional volleyball since I was 11 years old.

What are you currently listening to or reading?

Currently; only children’s books and songs. ?

Who or what inspires you the most?

My mother and Mother Nature.

Crystal Nikprelevic | CUSTOMER SUCCESS MANAGER

Can you describe your role at SundaySky?

I’m a Customer Success Manager and I work closely with our customers and internal teams to build, optimize, and maintain healthy programs.

What do you like the most about working at SundaySky?

The people, the platform, and the amazing movie recommendations.

What is one unusual fact about yourself that people may not know?

My last name is actually Nikprelaj.

What are you currently listening to or reading?

Listening to the Guilty Pleasures playlist on Spotify ; reading Educated by Tara Westover.

Who or what inspires you the most?

Hmmm…I find a lot of things inspire me, but lately I’d say my mom, my manager, and my team.

Ludmila Michalova | DATA ANALYST

Can you describe your role at SundaySky?

Reporting on personalized video data for clients and internal stakeholders.  Ensuring data is accurate and helping identify and correct issues as needed.  Consulting on A/B testing and aiding the formulation of best practices.  Using newly acquired Photoshop skills for mischief.

What do you like the most about working at SundaySky?

I love all of the opportunities to learn and develop new skills!  Everyone is very knowledgeable and readily willing to share, or go do something fun!

What is one unusual fact about yourself that people may not know?

I moved to the US when I was 8 knowing no English. Most of my family is still in Slovakia and I try to visit every couple of years. I hate cantaloupe.

What are you currently listening to or reading?

I’m reading Veronika Decides to Die for book club.  Usually listening to an NPR or Axios podcast or a Spotify playlist depending on my mood.

Who or what inspires you the most?

The desire to provide my cat, Pepper, with the very best life that she deserves.  And world domination.
